From cave experiences to climbing and trekking to extreme aquatic activities—The Philippines is a fantastic place to visit if you’re seeking thrilling adventure excursions.

Indulge in the adrenaline-pumping extreme experiences that the Philippines has to offer! Learn about the many outdoor activities available around the country. In Buenbyahe’s Top 5, you may choose between ocean, inland, and high-altitude adventures.

1. Shipwreck Diving in Coron, Palawan

With astounding waterscapes surrounding the Philippines, it’s not a surprise that our country is a top destination for tourists! With the incredible marine ecosystem, clear waters, and white sand, what more could you ask for?

Going diving in the Philippines, particularly in Palawan, the shipwreck diving capital of the Philippines, is one of the most thrilling pastimes. In Coron, there are around 10 shipwrecks within driving distance, most of which are only accessible to divers with advanced certification.

2. Ultralight Flying in Pampanga

In just a few hours away from Manila, you will reach the vicinity of Pampanga, the home of ultralight flying experience. The Philippines, especially in Pampanga, is a fantastic site to attempt ultralight flying since we only have two seasons: dry and rainy, with more sun than rain in most months.

Ultralights are tiny fixed-wing aircraft with one or two seats. Ultralight or microlight flying is a great pastime for people who wish to have a taste of flying in a small plane. Because the ultralight has an open-air cockpit, you will feel the fresh breeze of the sky!

3. Surfing in Siargao

Surfing adventures are thrilling, and the Philippines boasts a variety of surfing areas for surfers of all levels of expertise.

Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte, on the other hand, is the most popular due to the numerous surfing places on the island. Cloud 9 reef break is regarded as the best not only in the Philippines but in the whole world.

After surfing in Cloud 9, you could take a side trip to lagoons and caves that you will discover in the island of Siargao!.

4. Canyoneering in Badian, Cebu

A canyoneering expedition will test your ability to overcome your fear of heights. It’s also suitable for non-swimmers. If you’re looking for an exciting activity that will give you a total adrenaline rush, perhaps it’s time to write it down to your local travel bucket list!

Hiking, bouldering, climbing, rappelling, leaping, and swimming in river canyons are all part of this adrenaline-pumping adventure. One of the greatest sites to go canyoneering is in Cebu, where you may begin at Alegria and conclude in Badian, where you may swim in the Kawasan Falls.

5. Paragliding in Sarangani

There are just a few paragliding spots in the Philippines, but Sarangani in Mindanao’s Soccsksargen Region has the nicest view, with undulating hills and the Sarangani Bay in the background.

If you want to fly but don’t want to take the risk of skydiving, paragliding is the next best option. It is operated by a qualified pilot and employs a lightweight, free-flying glider aircraft.
